Mirto revisits the armoured self, through a condensed iteration of DIS-ARMA-MI, first presented at Casa Morra (Naples, 2025), where audiences washed a full suit of armour cast in soap, encasing a person within.

For the London iteration, A part of you, Mirto reduces the protected body to a single soap gauntlet, worn by performer Ailbhe Murphy. Audiences are invited to dissolve the glove using a sponge or their bare hands.

Alongside the participatory action a 10-minute video documents the original performance.

Following the live action, the residual gauntlet will remain on display, bearing traces of collective action and exchange. Alongside it, an untouched gauntlet awaits its own dissolution..
